DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED WITH OPEN ALCOHOL CONTAINER: On Feb. 12, 2023 at around 02:19 hours, a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for multiple traffic violations. Upon making contact with the driver, multiple signs of intoxication were noticed by the officer. After further investigation, it was determined that the driver was intoxicated and was placed under arrest for the offense of Driving While Intoxicated.
TRAFFIC STOP/PDP/POCS/EVADING/) DISPLAY EXPIRED REGISTRATION/LICENSE PLATES/;NO OPERATOR/DRIVERS LICENSE/POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHENALIA/Offense Status ACTIVE POSS MARIJUANA < 2OZ: On Feb. 12, 2023, at approximately 14:46 hours, officers conducted a traffic stop with a white SUV traveling southbound at the 300 block of Padre Boulevard and made contact with the operator. Investigation revealed three male subjects and a female subject were arrested and transported to the South Padre Island City Jail where they were booked and processed properly.
ASSAULT CAUSE BODILY INJURY FAMILY VIOLENCE/ASSAULT FV CLASS A MISDEMEANOR (MISD): On Feb. 12, 2023, at around 19:09 hours, officers were dispatched to the Paradise Beachwear located at 2216 Padre Boulevard in reference to an assault. Investigation revealed a female was assaulted by her boyfriend causing bodily injury. The suspect fled the scene and was not located. Incident documented.
3103 THEFT OF BICYCLES AND FISHING RODS/THEFT> $1500 < $20k/FAILURE TO IDENTIFY/WARRANT — ISSUED BY OTHER AGENCY: On Feb. 13, 2022, at approximately 11:21 hours, officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Padre Boulevard in reference to a theft. Upon arrival, contact was made with a male complainant who stated that two unknown male subject took his property without his effective consent. Furthermore, one male subject was later located and placed under arrest for theft.
PUBLIC INTOXICATION: On Feb. 14, 2023, at around 01:33 hours, officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Padre Boulevard in reference to an intoxicated subject. The subject was located, and it was determined that he was intoxicated to the degree that he was a danger to himself or others and was placed under arrest for the offense of Public Intoxication.
