Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church will observe Holy Week with a focus on Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday, March 24-27.
On Holy Thursday, the Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper, which includes washing of the feet, will be celebrated at 7 p.m. This will be a bilingual mass. Bread will be provided and blessed for those present.
Those attending are asked to bring a bell to ring during the singing of the Gloria.
On Good Friday, March 25, the Stations of the Cross will be enacted at 3 p.m. This also will be a bilingual event.
Simultaneously, the Living Stations of the Cross will journey through the neighborhood near the church.
The Celebration of the Passion of the Lord is scheduled at 7 p.m. in a bilingual setting.
Holy Saturday will see the Easter Vigil Service at 7 p.m. Those attending may bring bells to ring during the singing of the Gloria. There will be no 5 p.m. mass on Saturday.
