The arrests keep coming as the result of a Cameron County District Attorney’s Office sting operation codenamed “Operation Dirty Deeds.”
On Wednesday, April 13, Marizol Sifuentes, an office clerk with the Cameron County Tax Assessor-Collector’s office was taken into custody at the Cameron County Courthouse Administration Building, according to a statement released by the DA’s office.
Sifuentes, who has been employed with the tax office since 2000, was charged with one count of felonious breach of computer security and was transported to Carrizales – Rucker Detention Center to await an appearance before a magistrate, according to the statement.
