Laguna Madre Water District is pleased to announce that Raul “Jerry” Troncoso has been selected as LMWD’s Employee of the Month.
The Laguna Madre Water District reviewed nominations in continuing with its Employee Recognition Program and chose Raul “Jerry” Troncoso as Employee of the Month for October 2023. Raul is “a dedicated employee, not just to the company, but to other employees he works with. He’s professional, works well with others and doesn’t shy away from lending a hand to get the job done.”
Pedro Gonzalez, Manager of Construction Maintenance, and Jose Martinez, Assistant Manager, nominated Raul Troncoso from their department. Their nomination letter stated, “Jerry was recently promoted to Construction Maintenance Technician 2 in December 2022.” They added, “There is no task that he will not complete to help this department complete the job quickly and safely.”
Raul started working at the Laguna Madre Water District 12 years ago. He worked in the Distribution Department for ten years until he moved to the Construction Maintenance Department almost three years ago. Raul has his CDL and is working toward his Surface Water C License. “He is wanting to learn and never backs down from a new challenging task,” stated Mr. Martinez.
